Все дело в том, что использование обычных сэмплеров, даже при наличии качественных гитарных звуков (что само по себе редкость), не позволяет при игре на piano MIDI keyboard воспроизвести целый ряд характерных приемов гитарного исполнения, без которых звучание гитарной партии становиться неестественным и неубедительным, независимо от профессиональных навыков и опыта исполнителя, не говоря уже о малоподготовленных музыкантах-любителях.
RealGuitar - уникальный sample-based VST instrument, реализующий не просто принцип note-to-sample, а представляющий собой специализированный performance tool (исполнительный инструмент), моделирующий характерные приемы исполнения конкретного музыкального инструмента (в данном случае, гитары) которые невозможно воспроизвести обычным способом на клавишах.
