CheckGmail - простой уведомитель о наличии почтовых сообщений на Gmail для Linux и других *nix-систем. Приложение обживается в лотке панели, по приходу почты меняет вид значка, можно включить и анимацию с уведомлением числа новых сообщений и краткими деталями сообщений. Настройка CheckGmail не вызовет никаких проблем у новичков - всё проходит в графическом режиме, само приложение выполнено просто, элегантно и ненавязчиво. Для работы требуются GTK+ от 2.4.х, Gtk2-perl и Gtk2-TrayIcon.

- New Feature: URIs are clickable (if libsexy and Gtk2-Sexy (Perl bindings to libsexy) are installed). Sorry, these will probably require downloading the source and building by hand, so at the moment it's not for the feint-hearted. But it's well worth it, I reckon
- New Feature: Checkgmail now displays some information about attachments when the full text of the message is requested (limited to the first attachment in a message at present)
