С помощью Antechinus Audio Editor можно записывать аудио, смешивать файлы, а также применять разнообразные эффекты, учтиво сгруппированные в главном меню по категориям. Кроме того, редактор позволяет применять два фильтра, позволяющих снизить уровень шума. Первый инструмент подавляет шум в композициях, записанных с кассетного магнитофона. Второй фильтр предназначен для снижения громкости дыхания во время записи с микрофона. В некоторых студиях перед микрофоном натягивается кусок капроновой ткани. Его действие аналогично данному фильтру.

You can save your audio files in 5 different formats:
Windows Wave Sound (wav): This format is supported practically everywhere. It is uncompressed or lightly-compressed and very fast to load, but needs lots of disk space. It is great for games, or for short sound effects on your web pages. Because of the large footprint, it is not suitable for music or human speech if you wish to place them on the web: in this case, it is better to stick to mp3.
U-LAW (CCITT standard G.711) is compressed WAV used in telephony, similar to European A-LAW. It compresses 16-bit to 8 bits for 2:1 compression, with some audio distortion, but higher in quality than 4-bit ADPCM formats. It is fast to encode and decode.
MPEG Audio (.mp3): This compressed format is widely supported on different operating systems and on the web. Mpeg video usually has mp2-compressed sound. Mp3 is audio-only (no video) and offers even greater compression ratio than mp2. Because it is so economical, mp3 is very suitable for the web, music and human speech.
Dialogic ADPCM (.vox): Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation (ADPCM) is compressed WAV format, which compresses from 16-bit to 4-bit giving 4:1 compression ratio. The Dialogic ADPCM format often used in telephony applications. It is optimized for human voice in low sample rate (16-bit mono).
Ogg Vorbis (.ogg): This is highly-compressed high-quality sound, and a great alternative to mp3. Some countries have patent issues with the mp3 format, whereas ogg is free everywhere.
The only problem is that compared to ogg, web browsers, Media Player, and other audio players currently offer much greater support to mp3.
