Azureus
Azureus (клиент сетей BitTorrent) — это написанная на языке Java программа для работы с пиринговыми сетями по протоколу BitTorrent.

Как и программы подобного рода, Azureus предназначен для быстрого распределения файлов среди заинтересованных пользователей, причём каждый заинтересованный в информации клиент одновременно работает и как клиент, и как сервер (то есть, как получает пакеты с информацией, так и отправляет другим).

Функции графической оболочки выполняет библиотека SWT.

Azureus свободно доступен под лицензией GNU General Public License на веб-сайте azureus.sourceforge.net.

С версией 2.3.0.4 была введена DHT-техника, позволяющая распределение файлов в ситуациях, когда трекер недоступен.
